The Interceltic Festival takes place at the beginning of August yearly, and is now the largest Celtic music festival in Europe, outside of the United Kingdom. Over 4,500 artists entertain 650,000 spectators. Performance include fiddle music, bagpipe lessons, Gaelic workshops and ceilidhs, and Celtic food and drink is aplenty.
